I was the lucky winner of a giveaway hosted by Robin at The Primitive Hutch recently! I was so excited when the post man pulled in the driveway this morning and beeped his horn, I ran out on the porch in my pajamas. I didn't care...I knew it was Robin's package!
I brought it in and first things first: it had to pass the "cat scan".
Once the "cat scan" was complete, my daughter and I opened the box and were met by our favorite colors: purple & lime green! Robin sent this awesome rooster card of congratulations for winning - I love black roosters, have a feeling this card might end up framed.
I was so thrilled when I lifted Etta Mae out of the box and unwrapped her. Robin made her from a Jackie Schmidt pattern. She felt heavy and everything about her was prim PERFECT and so well put together. My daughter held her gently for about 10 minutes before I could get my hands on her. LOL! She looks so great on the antique child's chair next to our fireplace. This is a doll I will cherish forever.
Robin was sweet enough to send the above items also! A primitive wooden heart, magnetic note pad (love these!) and two large tarts that I believe might be pumpkin spice, my favorite, and read "McCall's County Canning". Thanks so much, Robin, for hosting this wonderful giveaway! I sure feel like one lucky gal!
