TGIF IT'S SNOWING

This is what we woke up to this morning.  Bittersweet.
Pretty but won't be able to plant or cut the grass and I'm not cleaning the garage with snow on the ground. LOL!

Good excuse to stay in and sew.  I have been sewing, but for a swap so I can't post any pics yet!

I did end up finishing that silly old bear and there is a link to the free pattern on my right-hand sidebar if you would like to give it a whirl.  Keep in mind I am not a seasoned pattern designer, so if you try it and something doesn't make sense, feel free to drop me an email.

Hope you have a good weekend!

Oh Lisa, that snow is beautiful,,, but girl it is April!! Is this normal there? Everything would be killed here as flowers are blooming, gardens planted, buds on trees. We even have tomatoes that are as big as ping pong balls. But I love snow. Mother Nature has sure kept us on our toes lately. Just enjoy your day inside and the beauty outside. Have a wonderful weekend.

I can remember snow falling this late in the year. It is very chilly here this AM. Glad our tomatoes aren't in the ground yet.
Your bear is darling.
Love those shutters below.
I don't know much about the chair but I have a straight one similar. If it is sturdy, I'd repaint and continue loving it!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Lisa! What a pretty shot. What a great excuse to not do the barn and give the ol' sewing machine a whirl! *smiles* Love your bear. Have a great time. Oh I bet the flower bulbs and things growing under the ground are patiently waiting. Norma, xo

Pretty but sad that you got snow in April. Just remember this is moisture the ground need for your garden to grow. Have fun sewing and enjoy the view it will be gone fast!

Have a lovely day at the sewing machine, it's what I hope to be doing as well and I don't have snow as an excuse. x

It looked like that as I was driving to work last night too. Well actually it was blowing directly at me so I could barely see! UGH! BUT like you said...another excuse NOT to have to mow the yard..hehe!! Katie

Oh, My! It was so warm in the house today I thought I'd pass out. But it's over, we're in for rain for days now.
Enjoy the last little bit of winter, it was very pretty.

OMG Lisa, snow?!!! It is MUCH too late in the year for that sort of thing! Hope it has all melted by now and that the sun is out again. Off to download your pattern, your 'silly old bear' is adorable! Thanks so much for the link, Deb
