In honor of the men and women who serve our country currently and throughout the ages who have sacrificed physically, mentally, emotionally.  To many of us military service is a news blurb on the TV screen, we are so far removed from it.  Please don't forget our military and their families, keep them in your thoughts and prayers.  Be thankful for our rights and our freedoms in this country that we take for granted.  I think of the 14 year old girl ("Malala") in Pakistan who was shot by the Taliban for speaking publicly that females should have the right to attend school.  I think about Christians in China who have to meet secretly to read their Bibles and pray together.  We are not just "LUCKY" to live with the freedoms and rights we have.  Many have served to protect them over the ages.  God Bless our Vets.

President Obama and Gulf War Veteran, Tammy Duckworth, place a wreath for Veterans Day.

11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month we have a minutes silence in Australia to remember those who have given their lives in war. I wish that a day like that was not necessary and hope that we can one day be free of war. x

forever we keep in our hearts those who serve and defend us and those who gave all that we can be free. Sincerely, and yes Jackie, we wish for that day when there is no war.
