(please ignore the dirty kitchen window, LOL.
Ever try to wash a window outside in the cold? It's not pretty.)

Like a crow to shiny objects, I am drawn to colored glass.
Especially when it sits in a window with the sun shining through. This vase is my favorite color, and I love the shape.  Have been trying my best not to buy or thrift things I don't need.  But this vase tugged at my heartstrings - and it was super cheap.  Just a simple joy I wanted to share.
Hope you find simple joy today♥

I never go to Hobby Lobby and it is fairly close to me. Maybe I should try it. I hear they are wonderful employers. Nice to hear good things about companies. Love the vase.

It is beautiful! I, too, am drawn to colored glass. I concentrate on the antique stuff but I, too, am holding back at all stores. i put whatever I want in my cart and before I check out, I go through it all, asking myself--DO I REALLY NEED THIS? Do I have room for it or what will I do with it? I end up putting most of it back.

Amethyst and sunshine, how can you go wrong?! Lovely and I never would have noticed the window if you hadn't mentioned it as they are MUCH cleaner than mine!

Have you ever seen old glass that has turned purple? Its because of the maganese that was added. Reminds me of your pretty vase. Janice
