Robin Update

Happy to report Robin made it through the storm!
This is a picture of her this afternoon in the exact same spot she was in my previous post about her.    Actually, due to the colorful red breast, it is probably a "he" per some helpful blog buddies. I'd like to thank everyone to took the time to comment and share their ponderings, prayers, links and knowledge.  My husband went out (on his own) and shoveled this patch for her/him in his/her spot and left an apple.  I see now the sticker is still on it which I need to go remove so no one gags.  Robin looks a little less puffy in this pic, that and the fact he survived the storm must be good signs.

Sat down and made a few more fake fabric flowers - still having fun with it and will probably make more.  They don't take up much room so that's a good thing.

If you are looking for a good movie to watch, we caught "Moneyball" with Brad Pitt this weekend. It's a true story about the General Manager of a baseball team using statistics to choose players instead of age/looks/popularity, etc.  Only a few swear words and no raunchy parts.  Good acting/storyline and something the whole family can watch.  And yes.  Brad Pitt is nice to look at.

Hope this week is good to you in whatever you have planned or comes your way ♥

So glad that Robin is doing well. Yes, the males of many species are actually the colorful ones, ie the red cardinal is actually the male. Females are usually brown or grey or some other natural earth color to help protect them and their nests from predators :)

Glad the robin is ok. I just hate to see any living creature having a hard time.
