A walk around the yard the morning after Easter.
Rain is working on getting rid of the rest of the snow, making fog.
One of those days you just have to sit back and be patient and wait.
A good day for sewing.

Hope your Easter was blessed!

Slow but sure, making a little headway on the bunny shelf sitter.  Might be done in time for Easter? Hard to believe it is only a week away!

The snow continues to melt here.  Was eating lunch at my mom's house in town last week when four deer walked across her yard.  They looked like young ones.  They've eaten all the cedar and green they can reach.  Every year I have to wrap the bushes around her house in burlap, which is quite a chore, or they would pick them dry.  Little buggers.

So it's still too cold and wet outside to do any kind of yard work, but we are all itching to get out.  This morning the pastor said April is the most "schizophrenic" month there is, LOL.  Is it spring or is it winter?

I hope your week is spring and is good to you!

Cut out another doll on Sunday and snuck in a bunny shelf sitter - gettin' the urge to stain something!

Like being able to spread projects out on the dining room table.
As you can see, the sun was shining this weekend and that old snow was just melting and dripping - gotta love it!  Lots of robins and squirrels hopping around out back.

Those three shoeboxes in the picture are where I keep my fabric scraps - the pieces that are too little for folding but worth keeping!

Thanks for stopping by - love your visits♥

He's been asking me all day if he can go outside to climb the trees.

I tell him "No" because it looks like THIS outside:

...and he insists on going barefoot because he is a "jungle boy".  "Be patient", I said. Not time for barefoot weather yet.

So instead, he has been jumping and climbing and hanging upside down on the couch, like a proper jungle boy would.  He is my first boy doll and much different from the girls in their pretty dresses and pantaloons and striped stockings.

Caught a few haunted house movies this weekend while I stuffed and sewed:  "Clara's Secret" and "Secrets in the Walls" and "You Belong to Me".

Still have three primitive dolls waiting to be stuffed, put together and dressed.  And three doodles on my dining room table:  a bunny shelf sitter, birthday kitty and "fang"...she's a girl raggedy who lives at the end of the street in an old victorian house.  Ah...too many scary movies! LOL

Hope your weekend has been good to you♥

She started as a twinkle in my eye...

Welcome to the world dolly!
She is a "Moonlit Raggedy" for sure as I stayed up 'till midnight three nights in a row to finish her. I was so anxious to see her finished...

Here is a close-up of her "crooked" smile!  Have you ever met anyone with a crooked smile?  I like those kind of folks, they always seem to be on the verge of laughter or telling a great story.

I can't believe all the time that goes into making one doll.  Although she's raggedy, she's not really primitive, so I hemmed all the edges and tried to hide stitches...definitely takes more time. And the older I get, the more impatient I am!  I thought it was supposed to be the other way around?

I'm already excited about making a boy raggedy with a monkey jumpsuit...and a little princess with really PINK many dolls, so little time.

It's really thawing here.  In fact our garage had about four inches of standing water this morning...I spent three hours straight getting rid of that.  Been doing a little spring cleaning too...I'm so achy from chopping the ice in our drain the water in our garage...the spring cleaning is on hold!

Thanks for visiting and welcome to new blog buddies!  Hope your week has started out good!
