Been tracing out Halloween and ran out of pins.  Guess you can never have enough?

Used my 50% off coupon and invested in six yards of muslin.
I need to use my next coupon to buy LOTSA pins
Also have been trying to familiarize myself with Facebook.  I know it sounds crazy, but I've never been able to maneuver in fb very well.  Mostly because when I set up my page, it was just that...a "page" and not a personal account.  So I wasn't able to comment, like, etc.  Finally linked a personal account to the "page" so I could do these things, but not sure if that's working very well either because some actions are not showing up...will figure it out someday.

Gonna sit down soon and catch up on my blog reading - see you then!

Hi Lisa :) Wow, Fall is creeping up on us. You're right, you can never have enough of those pins. Luckily they're small enough to store in a cute little container out of the way.
That facebook gets on my nerves with it changing all the time. Hard to keep up with all the social networking. I hope you get it all set up all right.

Now that's a lot of pins AND a lot of muslin! I've found you can never have too many pins and never have too many pincushions (which is probably why you never have enough pins because they are spread out over 15 pincushions!!). I'm done with Facebook, left a couple of years ago now, but have heard from others that unless you pay for 'impressions' on your page these days your feed doesn't get shown to any of your followers. Guess it was inevitable once they went public that you'd have to pay to play on Facebook but makes it pretty expensive for small businesses. Have you tried Pinterest or Google Plus? Lots of folks seem to be using those platforms now that Facebook is getting greedy. Happy blog hopping!

Hi Lisa, I seem to always be running out of muslin, good idea to stock up when it is on sale. The same thing happens with pins. I know so many bloggers have pretty much stopped blogging and use FB, I like FB, sometimes it is alot of drama though, I just ignore it. I feel more of a closeness with my blogger friends. Hope you are having a great summer. Hugs, Lecia

I use my coupon at Joans to buy a whole bolt of muslin. It usually lasts me a year. I have a confession..I never use pins. Cannot wait to see your creations. Janice

My, that is a lot of pinning! I should try that some time - going all out and working on a bunch of patterns, and getting them pinned, cut out and sewn up. I seem to do one pattern at a time, but I like your way! Now if only I could find my container of pins...

You have been busy haven't you? Lots of sewing to do now I guess. Trying to catch up on my blog visiting after writing job applications all day. I think I would rather be pinning muslin!!!! xx
