Greetings blog buddies!

Sorry I've been absent for a while. The crud hit a few days before St. Patrick's Day and took me down for quite a while.  I am really sorry for not responding to comments for a while especially!

I did manage to make progress on the Annie for St. Patricks Day (better late than never?).  Still have to hem her dress and make bloomers though.  She is from a pattern by Olde Country Cupboard that I've had for eons and finally used.
Don't know what it is about dolls but I love the fabric dolls.  I used to make them for my girl when she was little so I dug out an old pattern and want to try that in different colors.

The snow is still deep here but the roads are clear...except for the slush, LOL.

Hope to catch up with you all soon!

Just took this pic through the patio door glass of a chipmunk in the lilac tree.  We still have plenty of snow but signs of life are showing!

Best of all, my beloved Mama and Daddy squirrel survived the winter and made an appearance. This will be the fourth spring they have come back. I was worried about how they were surviving through the winter.  This is Mama working her way up to the porch for her bread.  Daddy was to the right gathering oak leaves and building their nest.  They chose a pine close to the house this year.  I love them.

And every year I find myself more and more fighting the desire and pull to live among the animals...out in the woods...away from most humans (as long as I have internet, LOL).

Madness...Spring Fever...I have a Funky Flower to share with you.
I like it.  Make one too if you like!  Make a garden!  Wrap a dowel in fabric for a stem or use a stick and put a bouquet in a crock or mason jar or pitcher!  Forgo the stems and pile them in a bowl or basket on the counter or table!  Be artsy and sew a thread hanger on the back and arrange some on a wall!

Just click on the pic for the pattern.

The top pic we snapped last night on a road across the highway from us where I like to ride my bike in the!  WAAAHHHH!  Ahem.  The shamrocks are from a Chestnut Junction pattern and are ready to be stuffed and stained.

Think GREEN blog buddies!

Happy Fat Tuesday - I hope everyone is getting their fill of Puczki's.
Hard to believe tomorrow is Ash Wednesday.

I snapped the pic above yesterday on my way to work at 8:30 a.m.
The car was telling me it was -25 degrees.  But the wind wasn't that's a plus.
I guess.

This is a pic of our one mill in town.  Our only smoke stack.  The smoke hangs in the cold air and with the sun shining it was all purplish and pretty.  The trees were sparkling with frost but the pic doesn't show that.  Most of the snowbanks are over the car now.

Still got the Spring Fever here.  Been working on GREEN stuff like shamrocks and an Irish raggedy.  Wanna try out a funky flower I drew...if it works I'll share it with ya.  We'll make our own flowers. Nah-Nah.

Hope this week is being good to you♥
