THE EMPTY CHAIR

Been away for a while dealing with some grief.
My mom passed away in December after fighting long and hard to stay in this world.
Having to learn how to fill in the big empty space she left is taking time.
So we are working on a little studio space to sew by the Light of the Moon again.
I'm looking forward to connect with you again and share some creations in the coming months.

Keep on Creating ~*~ Lisa

I am so sorry Lisa. I lost my dad days before Christmas years ago, so I know how hard it must be for you. SO glad you are back to blogging. Missed you! Janice

Lisa, my thoughts and prayers are with you right now. My mother passed away in January; yesterday would have been my Daddy's 87th birthday and today would have been my parents' 63rd anniversary. I look at what my youngest brother posts on Facebook about Daddy and he is so eloquent. When I try to write something (and I am a writer) I just start crying. I wrote, "Happy birthday, Daddy." And followed up today with "Happy anniversary, Momma and Daddy." I changed my photos to meaningful ones of their sweet faces, their grandchildren and a field my Daddy loved. What I want to share with you is this: When you love someone dearly, the pain you feel when they have passed on can be a comfort and a blessing -- if reflects your love for them and what they blessed this earth with. God bless you during this sacred time.
